Have you ever had a strong desire to do something for God, but feel like what you are doing is small and insignificant? If that is you, I want to encourage you to offer whatever little you have in faith to God today!

Am I a person who is in the habit of seeing those from my entrance?…This is what challenges me, stirring within me a self-examination into my own character and habitual action on how I see and respond to the stranger and those vulnerable around me.

Like everyone, things that have happened in my past have shaped who I am now. I’m specifically talking about trauma—years of deep-rooted pain that have shaped me in ways I’m still discovering. I’ve always longed for deep friendships. That feeling of love and belonging is something we all crave, isn’t it?

I am one of the hosts for our Girl Listen Up Podcast…In one of our episodes, we talk about friendships and our personal experiences with them. In the episode, I share how I went through a season of loneliness. Since someone out there could relate to my story, I wanted to go more in depth to encourage you.

Recently, at my internship, a lot of people have told me that they see that I could be a team lead and recommended that I apply for a full-time internship with this church. This terrified me – mostly insecurity on my part.... So many doubts went into my head about me not being fit enough to lead, not being able to communicate that well, and wondering if I could handle that much pressure and responsibility. 

I deserved that promotion! I had done everything asked of me.... Yet, the answer remains “not yet.”....This has been my biggest struggle lately. I haven’t found a way to rejoice while I wait. The scriptures are so encouraging, but putting them into practice is challenging.
